ANNIVERSARY ALPHABET CHALLENGE

31 days of October to complete 26 challenges

 

What to do? Post the letter of the alphabet and description or picture on your personal Facebook or Instagram and tag @trainyourinnerathlete and #TYIAanniversaryalphabet

 

A - ADVENTURE

Do something different, your own personal adventure

D - DANCE or DOWNWARD DOG

Try something with a little dancing or try a yoga class

G - GUT

Go to a TYIA core class. When? Click here

J - JUMP OR JOG

Re-live your childhood and do 5 minutes of jump rope, all in one day or stretch it over five. OR jog for 5 minutes, 5 miles, your own personal goal!

M - MOVE, EVERY DAY

Make a goal. Do it. Mat - try Pilates, Yoga, or Core. Move on the Mat.

P - PARTICIPATE

Another class. Get online or go in-person. Find one here and exercise your ability to participate.

S - STRETCH

15 minutes, twice/week for a month. OR spin, have you tried it yet? Try a class.

V - VICTORY

Do something different, your own personal adventure


Y - YOU

Do this for YOU.










B - BEACH

Get to the beach one more time! Walk, run, pick up seashells, breathe it in

E - EAT

What are you eating? Post a photo of something delicious that makes you feel good

H - HIKE

Find a state park, mountain, or a hill. Grab some friends or go alone. Take a hike, literally. When was the last time you hiked up Alberta or East Bridge? Just do it!

K - KIND

Be kind to yourself. Stretch and relax, give your body a break, take a few minutes and get back in touch with yourself.

N - NOW

What can you do right NOW for your health?

Q - QUEST

…Cardio quest. Hit a cardio class!


T - TRAVEL

Take a walk, get moving. Around town, on a trail, with friends, alone, with your dog. Take a long, brisk walk.

W - WALK

Walk more. Walk a lot. Weights, you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders somedays, might as well use it to your advantage. Hit a strength class!

Z - ZOOM

One virtual class. Do it, especially when you don’t feel like doing it. Sign up, hop on, and plank in your pajamas.

C - CLASS

Pick your favorite TYIA class and go (or try something new!)

F - FOOD

Clean the garbage out of the cupboard and fridge once this month. Get rid of it (not by eating it all) OR post your favorite healthy go-to meal

I - IRON

Move some iron. Take a Strengthen It! class or a class you have never done before. For whatever reason, mind over matter. Try it.

L - LATERAL ARM RAISES

Strength class. Hit one of them! Virtual or in-person. When? Click here

O - OBLIQUES

R - RIDE

Get on a bike, take a ride. If you don’t have a bike, Holly can help you out in spin class

U - UNWIND

Do something truly restful and enjoyable. How do you unwind?

X - MARKS THE SPOT

Find your spot at an outdoor class before it gets too chilly. You won’t regret it.
